Die Pandemie hat zusammen mit Dürren und Stürmen in der westlichen Hemisphäre  die Maisstärkeversorgung  in Amerika abrupt beeinträchtigt; Der Krieg in der Ukraine  wirkt sich auf die industrielle Stärkeproduktion in Europa aus ; Und die zunehmenden Spannungen in China und Korea haben zu weiteren Unterbrechungen in der Wellpappenbeschaffungskette geführt. Laut einem aktuellen globalen Stärkeprognosebericht sind die Verfügbarkeit und die Kosten kritischer Stärkematerialien extrem unbeständig geworden, und es wird erwartet, dass dies auf absehbare Zeit so bleiben wird. Fügen Sie die steigende Nachfrage nach Wellpappeverpackungen aufgrund des E-Commerce, nachhaltiger Verpackungstrends und der Verbrauchernachfrage hinzu, und wir stehen gemeinsam vor dem größten Lieferkettengiganten unserer Generation. Während des Supply Chain-Panels der AICC/TAPPI Corrugated Week 2022  wiederholten Führungskräfte der SMC Packaging Group und der Akers Packaging Service Group die Bedenken vieler Hersteller – nämlich Engpässe und Verzögerungen bei Rohstoffen, einschließlich Platten, Stärke, Paletten, Klebstoff und mehr. Obwohl es für jede Herausforderung eine Gelegenheit gibt, sich zu überwinden. Wir bei Apex International sind stolz darauf, die Accora™-Leimsatzlösung für Wellpappe entwickelt zu haben, um den Stärke- und Leimverbrauch zu reduzieren und einige der Herausforderungen der Lieferkette der heutigen Wellpappenhersteller zu mindern.  ## REDUZIERUNG DES STÄRKE- UND LEIMVERBRAUCHS Die beiden Hauptfaktoren zur Reduzierung des unnötigen Leim- und Stärkeverbrauchs während der Wellpappenherstellung sind (1) ein kontrollierter, präziser Spalt zwischen Leim- und Abquetschwalze und (2) das Raster, Profil und das Volumen der Leimwalze. Der Spalt zwischen Leim- und Rakelwalze ist für ca. 70 % des Leimauftrags verantwortlich, die restlichen 30 % entfallen auf Raster, Profil und Stärke/Leim-Übertragungsvolumen. Um Leimsätze herzustellen, die es den Betreibern ermöglichen, maximale Rohstoffeinsparungen zu erzielen, hat Apex International die beste Kombination von Walzenmaterialien entwickelt, um sicherzustellen, dass die engsten TIR-Toleranzen erreicht und während des Walzenherstellungsprozesses eingehalten werden, was zu besseren Ergebnissen führt als die OEM-Spezifikationen.   Gemäß den "Best Practices" der Branche werden konsistente Ergebnisse erzielt, wenn eine Leimwalze aus Edelstahl in Kombination mit einer Abquetschwalze aus Keramik verwendet wird. Zusätzlich die Standardgravur von 10 l/cm mit einem Volumen von 120 cm3/m2, in einem Winkel von 45° (25 LPI, Vol. 78 bcm) und dem Raster von 15 l/cm mit einem Volumen von 60 cm3/m2, auch mit einem Winkel von 45° (40 LPI, Vol. 39 bcm) liefern beide gleichmäßige, präzise Ergebnisse beim Leimauftrag.  Minimaler Stärkeverbrauch und reduziertes Leimvolumen sind das Ergebnis strategischer Konstruktion, präziser, kontrollierter Herstellung und sachkundiger Platzierung Ihres Leimsets. Apex International stellt mit Stolz Accora™ Leimsätze mit Präzision, Haltbarkeit und Exzellenz her, um Ihnen zu helfen, kostbare Rohstoffe zu sparen, ohne an Kartonqualität einzubüßen. ## GEBAUT FÜR DIE HERAUSFORDERUNGEN DER WELLPAPPENHERSTELLUNG Accora™ Leim- und Abquetschwalzen werden von Apex International strategisch so hergestellt, dass sie Stärke-, Leimarm und qualitativ hochwertig sind. Durch einen AST-Fusion-Fertigungsprozess fertigt Apex seine Leimwalzen mit einer dicken, doppellagigen Schicht aus präzisionsgravierbarem Edelstahl, die auf die genauen OEM-Blaupausen Ihrer Maschine zugeschnitten ist. Zusammen mit der proprietären hydrophoben Keramikschicht mit geringer Porosität auf den Abquetschwalzen sind die Accora™- Leimsätze in der Lage, branchenführende Toleranzen für den Außendurchmesser (OD) und den angezeigten Rundlauf (Total Indicated Runout, TIR) zu erreichen – maximal 0,0005 Zoll TIR. Mit Accora™ können Wellpappenbetriebe getrost jeden Spalt spezifizieren – bis hinunter zu 0,007 Zoll – mit der Gewissheit, dass Apex-Leimsätze den kontrolliertesten, gleichmäßigsten und geradesten Spalt über seine Breite erzielen.  Die Vorteile von Accora™ Leim- und Abquetschwalzen reichen weit über die Einsparung von Rohstoffen hinaus. Die Verringerung der Stärke entspricht einer Verringerung der auf das Papier aufgebrachten Feuchtigkeit, was es den Wellpappenherstellern ermöglicht, den Dampfkessel herunterzufahren. Dies führt zu Einsparungen bei den Heiz- und Energiekosten und entlastet auch die steigenden Kraftstoff- und Energieprobleme in der Wellpappenherstellung.
