Es ist der wesentliche Hintergrund, auf dem Marken ihre sorgfältig ausgearbeitete Bildsprache zum Ausdruck bringen.  Kritische Erfolgsfaktoren für den Proof-Matching-Flexodruck sind daher deckende weiße Farbschichten mit ausreichender Deckkraft und Qualität.  Coveris wandte sich an Apex, um ein Projekt zu unterstützen, das sich speziell auf den Druckprozess konzentriert, und um die Leistung der weißen Farbablage zu optimieren, nachdem Probleme beim Drucken von Deckweiß aufgetreten waren. Sie stellten fest, dass  das Auftragen von zu viel weißer Farbe zahlreiche Auswirkungen auf die Druckleistung hatte, wie z.
